band the First Monday of each month)
Join us at a beautiful venue for dancing - a HUGE wood floor and a Live
swing band. We will be doing a first Monday live swing band the first
Monday of each month. This has been in the works since December '09 and
is finally coming together. Thanks to Margie Pergola for helping make
this happen!!!

$12 includes dance lesson, live band and entry into raffle. $15 tickets
for table seating.
Special menu available for anyone that would like to come early for

Lindy and Party Weekend at the Pointe Squaw Peak
September 9-12, 2010
2nd annual Lindy and Party (LAP)
Dance Weekend in Phoenix, AZ
At the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort. Beautiful weather, huge rooms,
pool with swim-up bar, and a water park.
This event is all about Lindy Hop and Partying and it includes: 30+
hours of social dancing, Jack & Jill competitions with no extra
entry fees, Hospitality Room with booze (21+), Pool Parties, A
water-park (with a bar) with a LONG lazy-river, Specialty Classes. Lindy
hop, music theory, jazz, Charleston, other stuff, and $3000 in prize
money.

Registration: $95 at the door
Youth Discount: $60 each (under 21 as of Sept. 9th, 2010)

Swing Sunday
School - Six Week Course Starts Sunday, September 19
with Steve Conrad and Becky
Lee September 19-October 24
Join us for an exciting six week course that will have you on the dance
floor feeling more confident and having fun. The Lindy Hop is the
original dance that was done to swing music in the late 1920's and
remained popular through the 1950's. It is done all around the
world thanks to the passion of people like Frankie Manning and lovers of
lindy hop everywhere. The East Coast Swing class requires you to know
the 6-count basic step which can be learned at any swing night prior to
the class.
3:00 pm: East Coast Swing Intermediate/Advanced (please take beginning
EC Swing any Tuesday night)
4:00 pm: Lindy Hop Beginning
5:00 pm: Lindy Hop Intermediate
Price: $10 per class OR all six for $50 in advance, $55 on first
day of classes

through week 3.
